How to initiate a relationship with God!

One of the keys to an integrated life is to have a faith in a Bible believing God that allows us in his power to live an abundant and boundless life with no sorrow. The question is how do you initiate a relationship with the God of the Bible?

1, a. You need to open your mind to belief that there is a creator outside yourself who created the earth and created us to produce after his own kind.

b. We are created by God, first class as we carry his DNA. You are created by God, created for purpose, creativity and productivity.

c.This is who our God is. Getting to know who this God is empowers you with success as he is the life source in whom all things are possible.

Life without this source makes us empty, void and always searching for the next adrenaline fix that lasts temporarily, until the next one.

2, Start by owning a Bible (eBook or hard copy) God’s instruction manual that teaches you on all aspects of life.

You can read or listen to the word of God. Read it out loud, confess it to self and meditate on the content.

*Start with ‘The Book of Psalms’ = made of Prayers.

3, Practice how to pray by speaking naturally to God –asking for your day to go well and thank the lord daily by writing in a journal at least 5 things you are grateful for. This increases your optimism. (Hope and Joy)

4, Seek daily to hear or listen to the Bible in your home environment.

5.a. Find a church in which to worship with other believers – it must have a 5-fold ministry. This is Teachers, Evangelists, Prophets, Apostles and Pastors. Google find a Church near me!

*Also commit your life to the faith. (The invitation is made regularly after teachings)

b. Try to pray consistently for a month – perhaps when you have just woken up. This will set a good habit in place for you.

The key is as you grow a consistent prayer life you will start to naturally ask God in prayer to direct you to the right church/places and people.

Consistency and persistence in Prayer, reading and meditation will grow your faith, especially when you can start to measure answers to prayers you receive.

*Meditation means focusing on specific words in the Bible, reflecting on their meaning in the context of the love of God.

6. Attending weekly church services will strengthen your faith, you will hear Biblical teachings on how to walk stronger in your Christian journey. This will grow your understanding of foundational principles in the Bible.

7.As your faith grows so will a natural need to solve problems for some of God’s children. (Anyone you can help safely)

Find what you are good at, hone it to excellent competence and use this to help people – in church and community. This adds a special dimension to your walk of faith and relationship growth with God.

As you grow your faith in God, other areas of your life will start to find meaning and direction. The other essential 4FS – Family, finance, friendship and fitness will start to unravel and grow.

The Bible states categorically the Judeo-Christian faith guarantees you wealth (wholeness) without the burden of sorrow.

Your faith lays the foundation for other elements that balance your life. For further information and the need of a Coach chat with me for 15 mins at –
